Adidas Originals x DTLA ArtNight Features Live Art by West Hollywood Artist Sküt
The flagship Adidas Originals store in Downtown Los Angeles came alive as part of the monthly DTLA ArtNight series. This special collaboration featured live art by Sküt, alongside artists Milena Mortati and Cosmo Bertollini, transforming the Broadway flagship into a vibrant hub of creativity, music, and culture.
The evening began with a vendor night market at 4 PM, followed by the main event from 6–10 PM and an after-party that carried the energy late into the night. Guests explored exclusive Adidas collections, interactive art installations, and over 30 galleries exhibiting as part of DTLA ArtNight.
“Events like this really bring the city’s creative pulse together,” said Sküt. “Adidas has always been a brand that celebrates originality, and it’s exciting to merge that energy with the local art scene downtown.”
Sküt, who previously showcased part of his Flamingo sculpture collection for DTLA ArtNight April, joined the event after attending several ArtNight openings and connecting with the organizers.
“We’re proud to welcome Sküt into the DTLA ArtNight circle—proof that great art doesn’t just speak; it sparks connection,” said curator Diana Barillas.
For the event, Sküt exhibited three original works, including his 24-inch hand-painted sculpture “Unicorn Origami” and two custom-painted skate decks from his Skullpop series, featuring bold skull motifs and layered color graphics.
The event drew a steady crowd throughout the evening, and Sküt gifted limited framed mini prints of his "LA Skull Hand" illustration to guests, as a token of appreciation in celebrating art downtown.
A multidisciplinary artist, designer, and pop-culture provocateur, Sküt blends bold aesthetics with social impact. Known best as the Co-Founder of Grindr, he brings a distinctive style of vibrant pop art, queer expression, and upcycled materials to his sculptures, murals, and immersive installations.
Located at 761 S. Broadway, DTLA, the Adidas Originals x DTLA ArtNight event highlighted the intersection of streetwear and street art—continuing Adidas’s mission to support local creators and celebrate Los Angeles’s creative diversity.
DTLA ArtNight takes place every first Thursday of the month, aiming to rejuvenate the Historic Core by connecting art, community, and commerce through a walking tour that supports local galleries, restaurants, bars, and retail.
